Nye Voices Project exists to give people an independent way to preserve and share accounts involving sexual misconduct, coercion, retaliation, abuse of authority, institutional misconduct, and related experiences connected to Nye County.
What Nye Voices does
- provides structured ways to preserve testimony;
- gives reporters meaningful publication and contact choices;
- separates public stories from confidential information;
- applies editorial standards before publication;
- can facilitate controlled communication with approved outside investigators when authorized.
What Nye Voices does not do
- determine criminal guilt or innocence;
- replace emergency services;
- provide counseling;
- act as a law-enforcement agency;
- provide legal representation;
- publish every submission automatically.

Nye Voices is not affiliated with NCSO, Nye County government, any political campaign, any law-enforcement agency, or any fraternal organization.
